Fishing at Big Fish Bay

Lesser Slave Lake is a favourite fishing destination in Alberta. The Slave Lake municipal boat launch is a five minute drive from Big Fish Bay.  Most campers launch their boats at the free municipal boat launch, then come down the river onto the lake, and drop a heavy anchor in front of Big Fish Bay, and leave their boat in the water for the duration of their stay.
